Stunners Fastpitch Organization:
In 2009, all Stunners teams will be run as independent clubs by their
respective coaches. There will still be a full slate of teams in age groups from
10U to 18U. You can view their information below and on the

page of this website.

 For 2009 I have organized and will field a competitive 18U team within a
sports ministry called Sports Reach.
Years ago, I played on a Sports Reach slow-pitch team and have remained
very close to its Executive Director, Robbie Speer. That ministry was something
I enjoyed being a part of and felt at this time in my life was something that I
needed and wanted to devote time to.
The fastpitch "arena" is a huge window of opportunity for Sports Reach
and ours will be the first to take advantage of the opportunity to spread a
clear Gospel message and testimony in a competitive fastpitch setting.
In fact, Sports Reach will be the host for the 18U ASA Northern National
Qualifier to be held in Louisville during June 2009.

In looking back, I am proud that over 80 student-athletes chose to be part of
the Louisville Stunner Organization during the past 2008 season, including my
18U "Mizuno" Gold Stunners
team.
I'm equally proud of the hundreds of girls that have participated in the
organization over the past 8 years. An organization that I helped to form with
the help and dedication of many others including my dear friend, the late,
John "Nub" Murrell.
I congratulate all the girls and their teams on
their success on and off the field and hope and pray for their continued success
during the summer of 2009 and beyond.

championship victory

seed, 18U Kentucky

2008 USSSA Worth Classic Champs! |

With
an appearance in the upcoming 18U "A" USFA World Series
ahead of them, the 18U Mizuno
Stunners won their second straight championship on July
13th in Fort Knox, Kentucky with victories over the
Indiana Daredevils, Louisville Mash Richmond Rage and
Runner-up Louisville Adrenaline.

2008 NSA State Champs! |
The 18U Mizuno
Stunners swept through the State Tournament during the
July 4th weekend in Owensboro Kentucky while scoring 27
runs in three games and holding their opponents
scoreless.
Congratulations as well to the Stunners' players and
coaches for their championships in the 12U and 14U
divisions as well as a Runner-Up, 3rd place and 4th
place finishes from our teams in the 16U division.
